Story of Morium: GOD is blessing single and women ministry one more time this year. Her name is Morium Modhu. She works in a hospital as a Junior Nurse. She stays near one of our HOPE project, Jamgara. Disciples of the HOPE project evangelized that area. That is how we got her as our Bible Talk visitor. She inspired by the fellowship and word of GOD. After that she studied Bible and decided to take Jesus as LORD in her life.
Story of Kajol: One more sister added to our family on 27th May, this week. Her name is Kajol. She is our Brother Babul's wife. Kajol did not know how to read and she is from a different background, Babul and Sisters did a hard work for her. God blesses their effort, she is now learning alphabet just to read the scripture and she has taken Jesus as her LORD. They have a wonderful daughter and from now on they will be more united as family in the church.
Special Women's Service: "Towards beautiful Life", a special women's service attendance was over 135+ held on 8th April, 2011. Our Guest speaker Raji and Sangita came from Kolkata to preach and share their message. It was encouraging for all of us and touch many of our family and friend's heart. There was many open people who visited and was in the fellowship. In the coming month, we will see many more good news from them.
Story of David & Christina: David Shyamal Roy and Christina Roy are Brother and Sister. Their Father’s name is Sattya Ranjan Roy and mother’s name is Usha Rani Roy. Father is a fisher Man. They are from very needy family. David who was been went through very difficult time in his village when he was in his old church. For family need he came to know about HOPE school and he applied as a teacher. When he started to work in HOPE school, he saw a different life style in the disciples who work in HOPE. Also he saw that how HOPE work to bring lives in people’s life. He decided to study Bible and is working for Industrial center of HOPE. He got baptized on 24th September, 2010. After being disciple he was trying to preach to his family in his village. His sister Christina becomes very interested to learn Bible. She starts to coming to Church. Last January he bought his sister to him so that she can come to Worship service and she may come to know the Salvation. His sister also starts studying Bible. And same time she was learning sewing in Industrial center of HOPE. Last 12th march, 2011 she got baptized.
Church Picnic: We had a awesome Picnic on Monday, 21st with lot of fun, songs, games, food, fellowship and sharing. All together we had 70 adults and 15 Kids. The day was National Holyday and we had our picnic on National Park. February 12, 2011
Reunion Party: A reunion party for the disciples who took Jesus as their LORD before and the year 2001. Brothers and Sisters share about their Conversion, Dreams, Achievements and Struggles. The party was very much inspiring for them.
