Month of January was month of Changes, some brothers and sisters decided to leave their job and work as full time in the church and ministry. This month we have reached many new people and weak brothers to help them in understanding of truth. Hopefully we will see some fruits soon. This February our focus is "Obedient in truth".

A Special Invitation service: A beautiful Mind, Our guest speaker Douglas Jacoby speak on Jesus attitude from the Gospel of Luke. Even though it was a working day, we had 300+ attendance on that day and many people had positive responses. God is amazing. We are looking for more victories in coming days.
Single's Retreat 2011: From Dhaka Church, five Single Brothers and Sisters attended the Single's Retreat at Sattal, Uttaranchal in India on 25th to 27th. Theme of the Retreat was Live Strong, They have learnt from the life of Joshua. This was a encouraging program for all of the single. November 25, 2011
Story of Procchad: He is the first brother baptism of Dhaka Church this year. He came to the church before with his sister when he was a small kid. Now he has grown as a teen of eighteen. He is doing his intermediate in Notre Dame College, one of the best colleges in Bangladesh. He started studying the Bible in 2010. As he was a teen, he needed much encouragement and conviction for studying the Bible. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it to go under water in 2010. Bothers of Kalachandpur Ministry didn’t give up. They continued to build up friendship with him. Procchad attended campus programs. Finally he took decision to take Jesus as his Lord and got baptism on 25 November.
Story of Silvia: Once again God blesses women ministry this month. Her name is Silvia, daughter of Kamal and Dona. She is a student of CA from Daffodil University. Her parents was disciples long ago when Moses and Momota was in Dhaka. That time, she was in the first ever KKC of our church. As she and her family was negative about our fellowship, it took lot of time to convince her. Specially, she was motivate from our sister sharing through Facebook. It was a challenging step for her to take the decision for salvation and deny family, carrier and religious nets. October 3-5, 2011
ERLC (Couples Retreat): Dhaka church couples and their kids went to Shillong, Meghalaya in India, to attend the couple retreat. We had two and half day sessions on core needs of kids, her needs, his needs, Vernability and leadership. Rachi, Guwahati and Kolkata church also attend the retreat.
Single's Outing: Singles of Dhaka Church had a whole day outing to Mymensing City. It took whole day to visited Agri University, Jainul Photo Gallery and Boating on river Bramhaputra. We went their by train and came back by bus. Trip was full of fun and uncertainties. That encourage us a lot. September 1-3, 2011
Couples Retreat: Dhaka Church had their first ever Couples Retreat. Most of the married of the church attended this retreat. We took our children, aunties, maid and two volunteers single with us. All this three days, we had time for Prayer, Fellowship, Sharing, Games and Lessons. First day, our focus was on our marriage. We had lesson on "Attitude Scale" and "The Family - purpose of marriage". Second day, our focus was on parenting. We start with worship service on "Forgiveness". Then we had lesson on parenting, "The Family Building". Parents had time to share about their kids and we gave instruction to their parents. After that at night up to 3 A.M., we had bonfire, Bar-B-Que, songs, jokes and sharing for Simon's Birth day. Third day, we had praise and worship, games and children had their time to learn some action songs. Then at the afternoon, we leave the retreat center. We believe this retreat has refreshed our marriages.
Welcome Full Time Staff: As a church, we welcome Simon and Martha again as a Full Time staff. According to plan, after the worship service, we welcome them. We have testimony for them and have special snacks for all of us. We are all happy and united with them to lead the Dhaka Church. Pray for our church, so that we can build the house for the LORD like this. August 12, 2011
Campus Invitation Service: Campus Ministry had a time of experiencing God in the invitation worship service "Friends Forever". It was in August 12th, post Friendship Day celebration. Our speaker Simon preach on that day from the word of God. Beside this there was cultural program like dance, Special Song, Lucky draw on response card. On that day we had more than 100 friends with us. Many of them are interested to study the scripture.
Story of Liza: GOD blesses women ministry one more time. Her name is Liza Dhaki. She is the sister in law of our Brother James Dhaki and she is house wife. She lost her dad at the age of six and lost her mom and brother in the railway station while coming from Chittagong in the same year. Still they are missing. She brought up in an orphanage. During this time she was shifted in different hostel and was adapted by a women. Because of their misbehave she run away from the house and came back to the orphanage again. After completing her graduation, she got married in 2001. Now she has two beautiful daughters, elder one is eight years old and second one is one and a half. Her husband Dipok Dhaki, cousin brother of James Dhaki was a disciples long ago, when he was a student. Later he fell-away. 21st February in this year they were invited in our church picnic. After picnic, she was reached by our sisters. They work hard for her, encouraged her when she was sick and alone. This relationships motivate her to follow the truth. Her husband Dipok Dhaki is positive and supportive to her. Please pray for her husband to be restored also.
